Q. What time will my movers arrive?

A. Australian Moving Logistics routes the trucks two days prior to moving day. We ask that you call us, two days before your moving day & we can let you no what time the movers will be arriving. If you are moving on a Monday or Tuesday we ace those start times on a Friday.

Q. What happens if I have more items on long distance moving day?

A. Australia Moving Logistics can only provide accurate quoting on the basis of information provided by its customers. If it is found that more items are to be moved than first mentioned, additional charged may apply.

Q. Do I have to empty filing cabinets?

A. Metal vertical filing cabinets can remain full; however, lateral & wooden filing cabinets must be emptied. This is due to the draws sliding on lateral cabinets, while wood filing cabinets are not made to take the weight of the files during moving. as per manufacturer's guidelines.

Q. Do I have to empty my freezer or refrigerator?

A. Yes, the freezer & refrigerator must be emptied to evil the contents damaging the inside of the appliance.

Q. Do I have to take the mirror off my dressers?

A. No. Australian Moving Logistics bring alone all the necessary tools that are needed to move & reinstall your mirrors that are attached to your dresser. We cannot remove mirrors that are screwed into the wall.

Q. Can I leave clothing in my dressers?

A. Australian Moving Logistics will move your dressers with the drawers in them. Items may be left in the drawer, such as clothing or linen on local moves only. Please remove all jewellery, perfume & non-clothing items.

 

Q. How big are your trucks?

A. We have trucks with capacity's to cater to all your needs, including: 126 cubic/m, 76 cubic/m and 50 cubic/m air-ride vans, 38 cubic/m container trucks & smaller 28 cubic/m vans.

Q. Do I have to take my beds apart?

A. No. Australian Moving Logistics brings alone all the necessary tools to disassemble & reassemble your beds for you. If your bed has air or water fill, please have it emptied before moving day. Additionally,some beds do require additional services & costs; such as: complicated bunk bed systems & canopy beds. All the the bedding should be removed from the bed before the mover arrive.

Q. Do you do packing?

A. Yes. Our fully trained packing staff is ready to help you with any size project.

Q. Do you offer Storage?

A. Yes, we offer a wide range of storage facilities.

Q. Do you move pianos?

A. Yes, we move every type of piano, from uprights to concert grand's & every size in-between.

Q. What do you consider a large box & a small box?

A. A large box would be carried one at a t me. Small boxes can be carried two or more at a time.

Q. Do you have insurance?

A. Yes. All Australian Moving Logistics vehicles are covered by full comprehensive insurance, covering your belongings whilst in transit against fire, flood or collision. Insuring your belongings for the entire move can also be arranged.
